A gift to the bride can be one of the most daunting prospects. Sometimes, it’s hard to know what to give, whether it will be used and if she’ll really appreciate it. When there are a sentimental touch and love is added, the gift doesn’t need to be pricey.  If it is useful and means something then we’re sure that the gift will be greatly received!

A Bit of Bling…

We all know that most women love jewellery. A little bit of bling never hurt anyone, especially not if it is something that the bride has been coveting for a while. If you are good friends with the bride then you may have gone shopping with her and know exactly what she would have been eyeing up. Whether it is a bangle, necklace or even some ear studs, then a bit of bling bought with affection would make a great gift.

Little Gifts…

Every wedding day is likely to be a busy and hectic. Many different emotions will be going through the bride’s mind, such as excitement, nervousness, stress, worry, happiness, etc. To ease the bride’s stress and to take her mind off things, a really thoughtful idea is to surprise her throughout the day with small gifts such as a little succulent at morning tea, a  pendant at lunch and a bunch of flowers after the wedding. This will spread the gifts out and the bride will love that you are taking her mind off things throughout the day!

Wife or Mrs…

Given that the bride-to-be is going to be a wife and her title is likely to change to Mrs., a customized mug or plate is a gift that will be carried with her throughout her life as a wife, mum and hopefully grandmother.

Place Mats…

During her life as a wife and mother, houses will come and go, but often the things that stay with the family are the cutlery, napkins and placemats – especially placemats. They frame the table and set the mood for the dinner. Many placemats have textures and details that make them look sophisticated and are perfect for a gift for the home.

A Throw…

A good throw never goes unappreciated! We’re not thinking judo… more the cosy and fuzzy ones, perfect to chuck over the end of a bed or couch. An extra special touch is to have the initials of the bride and groom stitched on the inside of the throw. This will remind them every day they have the throw from their special day.

Beach Bag with Essentials…

The bride and groom may be going away on a honeymoon and what better gift to help her be prepared than a beach bag full of honeymoon essentials. Some useful items that might go in the bag are sunnies, a cute towel, some tanning lotion and a pair of sandals. This is a personalized gift that will get her ready for her honeymoon in no time.

Wall Clock…

You can never go wrong with items for the house. One of these things, that really tie a house together, is a statement wall clock. A big and bold clock that has a funky pattern or a rim that can be really special. A good clock lives with a house for a lifetime, so pick one that reminds you of the bride and groom. Whether it’s their favourite colour or a certain pattern they love, a clock is a great gift to give.

Wooden Salad Spoons…

A spoon and a fork don’t cut it for salads. Wooden salad spoons, with the date of the wedding or the initials of the bride and groom, are definitely a gift that will be loved and used!  These types of gifts are the goods to give, as you know they will be thoroughly loved.

S & P Shakers…

Life can’t go on without a little bit of spice, and what better way to add that to your life with salt and pepper shakers. There’s such a large range of salt and pepper shakers it’s dizzying, and there is definitely a pair of shakers to match the bride and groom’s colour and style preference or personalities.

Vase…

It’s a fair bet that the bride will be given lots of flowers over the time of her wedding, so why not buy something special for the flowers to be resplendent in! A crystal vase is a very thoughtful present and, being crystal, will be the perfect centrepiece for the dining table.
